John R. Lewis, O.D.

Dr. Lewis received his Doctorate in Optometry from Indiana University in 1996. Following graduation, he performed his hospital-based residency training in New York City. He began his career as an associate in a multi-doctor ophthalmology practice, which specialized in advanced medical cases, and was among the highest volume private LASIK practices in New York. Dr. Lewis continued to live and work in Manhattan for several years before relocating to Portland, where he accepted a position with Pacific University's Optometry School as a Clinical Professor. He continues teaching at Pacific University and is excited to have moved into his own private practice, Beaumont Vision. Dr. Lewis provides comprehensive eye exams, contact lens evaluations and medical eyecare for his patients, including surgical co-management for LASIK.
